In 2021 studeerde ik af als logopediste aan Thomas More in Antwerpen. Tijdens mijn opleiding heb ik stage gedaan in zelfstandige praktijken. Hierdoor heb ik ervaring opgedaan met zowel kinderen als volwassenen. Verschillende problematieken kwamen aan bod: leerproblemen, taalontwikkelingsstoornissen, articulatiestoornissen, OMFT, stemstoornissen … Ik merkte toen hoe fijn ik het vind om samen met mensen op pad te gaan en mensen te coachen. Na mijn afstuderen startte ik dan ook met werken in het ondersteuningswerk voor type BA (leerproblemen), type 3 (gedrags- en emotionele problemen) en type 9 (ASS). Ik leerde veel bij over de werking van het onderwijs, de verschillende problematieken en coachingsmethodieken. In bijberoep werkte ik in een groepspraktijk met kinderen en volwassenen. 

Al van kinds af aan zing ik een koor. Gedurende mijn opleiding logopedie groeide mijn passie voor de stem nog meer. In 2022 startte ik met die reden het postgraduaat ‘Stem’ aan Thomas More. Ik leerde echter niet enkel hoe de stem in elkaar zit, maar ook hoe ik iemand anders een stem kan geven. Dat vind ik nog zoveel mooier en interessanter! Door mij te blijven bijscholen, leer ik nieuwe technieken en vaardigheden om mensen te helpen hun stem verder te ontwikkelen. Sinds 2023 werk ik voltijds in twee zelfstandige praktijken, waarbij ik elke dag samen met de cliënt aan de slag ga.
