Graag stel ik mezelf voor als een gedreven en gepassioneerde logopediste. In 2021 studeerde ik af in Sociale Readaptatiewetenschappen aan de UCLL. Tijdens een stage als zorgcoördinator op een school kwam ik in aanraking met logopedie, wat mijn interesse wekte en waardoor ik besloot om mij verder in dit vakgebied te verdiepen.

In juni 2024 behaalde ik mijn diploma als logopediste aan de Thomas More Hogeschool te Antwerpen. Gedurende mijn opleiding deed ik waardevolle praktijkervaring op door stages te lopen in zowel het buitengewoon onderwijs als in zelfstandige praktijken. Tijdens deze stages merkte ik dat kinderen de hulp van logopedie enorm waardeerden en dat zij door hun vooruitgang meer zelfvertrouwen kregen.

Specifiek tijdens mijn stage in het buitengewoon onderwijs kwam ik in aanraking met kinderen uit type 9 en type basisaanbod. Deze ervaringen hebben mij een breed perspectief en diepgaand inzicht gegeven in de uitdagingen en behoeften van kinderen met diverse communicatieve stoornissen.

Ik heb een bijzondere passie voor het ondersteunen van kinderen en geloof sterk in het creëren van een veilige en stimulerende omgeving voor mijn cliënten. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat een dergelijke omgeving essentieel is voor het boeken van succeservaringen en het bevorderen van de ontwikkeling van kinderen. Mijn specialisaties liggen in het behandelen van leer- en taalstoornissen bij kinderen, waarbij ik mij inzet om hen te helpen hun volledige potentieel te bereiken.

Daarnaast heb ik een groeiende interesse in stottertherapie voor kinderen. Ik ben vastbesloten om mijn kennis en vaardigheden op dit gebied verder te ontwikkelen om nog meer kinderen te kunnen helpen. Met veel toewijding, expertise en empathische benadering sta ik klaar om kinderen te ondersteunen en te begeleiden in hun communicatieve groei en ontwikkeling. Om de cliënten de best mogelijke zorg te blijven bieden, wil ik mij blijven bijscholen en op de hoogte blijven van recente wetenschappelijk onderbouwde vorderingen binnen de logopedie.

Ik doe schoolbezoeken in Leuven en Heverlee.
