Anneleen Ombelet

In 2012 studeerde ik af als logopediste aan de KU Leuven. Tijdens deze opleiding heb ik stage gelopen in Dominiek Savio te Gits. Daar heb ik zowel kinderen, jongeren als volwassenen mogen begeleiden met meervoudige beperkingen. Daarnaast heb ik ook in het Imeldaziekenhuis te Bonheiden ervaring kunnen opdoen bij de behandeling van volwassenen in een acute setting. Deze uitermate leerrijke ervaring wakkerde mijn passie voor de behandeling van volwassenen met neurologische aandoeningen aan.

Ik ben in 2012 meteen aan de slag gegaan als zelfstandig logopediste in het Logopedisch Centrum Leuven. Naast deze job als zelfstandig logopediste heb ik ook vier jaar deeltijds als interim-logopediste in het Heilig-Hartziekenhuis in Leuven gewerkt. Door de jaren ben ik me meer gaan specialiseren in verschillende logopedische domeinen, maar de passie voor neurologische aandoeningen is gebleven.

In 2023 kreeg ik de grote eer om de taak als praktijkcoördinator over te nemen van collega Marijke Vanderheyden, die zo’n 40 jaar geleden de praktijk opstartte. Als de grootste en meest ervaren praktijk in Leuven blijven we streven naar de beste logopedische begeleiding voor onze patiënten.

Ik doe huisbezoeken in Heverlee, Herent, Bertem en Kortenberg.
